EKON30, the 30th edition of the Die Entwickler Konferenz für Delphi, is coming soon in Düsseldorf, Germany. 23 – 27 November, 2026

This is one of the longest running Delphi conferences in the World, and I, along with many of Delphi’s most respected advocates, will be there.

If you have not already registered for this important, landmark event, there is still time. Use the code on the accompanying image to get a 15% discount on your registration.

I look forward to spending time talking with my many friends about Delphi and software development in general. In addition, on Tuesday, 24 November, at 17:45 pm, I will be leading a panel discussion about Delphi’s past, present, and future. Here’s the abstract for this fun session.

Delphi: How Did We Get Here?

With the release of Delphi in February of 1995, Borland ushered in a new era of software development with their RAD (Rapid Application Development) approach. This entertaining panel discussion hosts some of Delphi most ardent supporters, all of whom have been using Delphi since the beginning. Here you will hear the stories and reflections about this amazing journey, and gain some insight into where we are going.

See you there!

See You at the International Pascal Congress 2026

Hello, everyone. Yes, I'm still here.

I wish I had posted this sooner, but I'm am going to be in Salamanca, Spain, during the week of June 22nd 2026, for the International Pascal Congress 2026. This Pascal (including Delphi) event runs between June 22nd through June 26th, and includes some of Delphi's most notable professionals, including Marco Cantù, Michael Philippenko, Olaf Monien, Arnaud Bouchez, and many others. The schedule for this event includes many presentations, short courses, and technical talks. For more information please visit https://pascalcongress.com.

Oh, and I must also humbly mentioned that at this conference I am receiving the Niklaus Wirth Award 2026 for the Most Valuable Contributor in recognition for all of those books, articles, courses, seminars, and conference presentations that I have produced over the years. Yes, I've been at this for almost 40 years, but I never imagined that I would receive this honor. Dr. Sergio Miguel Tomé has posted a mention of this on his LinkedIn account, which you can see at https://www.linkedin.com/posts/international-pascal-congress_pascal-objectpascal-delphi-activity-7469812729126658048-maLm.

So, join me if you can. And one last thought: Delphi Rocks!
